Barry Poupard
This witty author was born and raised in Michigan and has lived, gone to school, worked, and wrote there for most of his life. He has two children, a boy and a girl, now grown and on their own. Though he has worked a variety of jobs, he spent the longest time working on a bookstore. He never considered writing books for younger readers until his friend asked him to write a story about her daughters that she could read to them. We have enjoyed publishing the Fairyland series and when each one is being prepared we can hardly wait to see what new picture he will send us for the back cover.
