The author was born and educated in Victoria, Australia. She has traveled widely and takes delight in photography, art, ancient history, gardening, and holistic healing. She has lived in New Zealand on the family farm for many years. She tells us: "The love of writing and language began after reading a beloved book while very young, about a gypsy girl.
